Optimize Dial Up Connection


1. Windows was used our Internet bandwith approximately 20%. We must delete that rule :

· Click start menu --> run then type = gpedit.msc

· On tree "computer configuration" > administrative template > pilih Network.

· On Qos packet scheduler > Double Click on Limit Reservable Bandwith.

· Click Enabled reservable bandwith and change the setting to 0 (zero)% then Apply and OK.

2. Click start menu > run then type= regedit .

On HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Tcpip\Parameters . Create several registry value :

· DefaultTTL create value 00000040

· EnablePMTUBHDetect create value 00000000

· EnablePMTUDiscovery create value 00000001

· GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize create value 0005ae4c

· SackOpts create value 00000001

· Tcp1323Opts create value 00000003

· TcpWindowSize create value 0005ae4c

· Restartt your Computer.

3. If you have many problem with Internet Explorer. Not wrong if you try other web browser like as Mozilla Firefox. You can download the latest Mozilla in this link http://download.softpedia.com/dl/67a698dcc2a4e2f729ee3b2779dd86a4/4a4e0caf/100005787/software/internet/browser/Firefox%20Setup%203.5.exe After download it, you must install manually. And I will tell you the steps to make Firefox running optimum with Dial Up Connection.

Run Firefox.

Go to address bar, type= about:config then Enter. If appear a warning, just click OK.

Right Click on Firefox (under Preference Name) then choose "new: then "integer".

On dialog box, create New integer value - Enter the preference name fill it with nglayout.initialpaint.delay. Then while other dialog box appear, just fill the value with 0 (zero).

On Filter Bar (Filter:) The location is under the tab then type= pipelining.

Double click on sentence = network.http.pipelining so that setting change become true.

Then double click on= network.http.pipelining.maxrequests after appear that dialog box let's fill it with number 30

Restart Firefox.

4. Setting your Dial up Connections by user and password :
user and password : wap - dial up : 222
user and password : cdma - dial up : *777#
other dial up number : *99# or *31*11111#
